Gold Shield Wealth is owned and operated by Amy Ross. Amy offers many years of experience in the finance and healthcare fields, both of which are important in financial planning.
After an extensive career in healthcare focusing on cancer patients, Amy decided to take her love of numbers and pursue her passion for finance. In 2020, she became a licensed insurance agent, marking the start of her journey in the financial services industry. Driven by a desire to help people work toward their retirement goals, Amy expanded her knowledge, becoming an Investment Advisor Representative in 2025.
She was able to take all the lessons learned along the way in healthcare to create a system that has made her stand out in the financial planning industry. Her one true goal is to make sure that no stone is left unturned for her clients’ financial future.
Jessica Van Glahn
Lead Administrative Assistant
Jessica Van Glahn was born and raised in Sussex County, New Jersey, and graduated suma cum laude from Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. Upon graduating, she moved to Conway, South Carolina, and met Amy through a mutual contact. After getting to know each other, Amy hired Jessica as Gold Shield Wealth’s Lead Administrative Assistant. Jessica is thrilled to be a part of the Gold Shield Wealth team, and she has a sincere passion for assisting Amy to help her clients meet their retirement goals.
